That Food Lady Just Won't Shut Up!

Today you can read an interview with me, The Nattering Food Lady, on the Pet Doc website.

Thanks Jonathan, for contacting me about the interview! It was fun.

In other news, I've been invited to enter a few animal photos in a national contest, but holycrow, I cannot for the life of me choose any to submit.

Got a favourite photo of someone else's dogs?

Or is your fave among Briggs, Tweed, Piper or Wootie's photos?

Help me out folks! I can't decide.

I know why you can't decide - you have too many good ones! Ah, the trials of being talented....

Great interview! As an English major, I really admire your gift with words! Alas, it is too difficult to pic a favorite photo from your collection. I do think that Tweed is very photogenic, though!

On a side note, how do you handle lighting for your indoor photography?

Thx!

WAY TO GO, FOOD LADY!!!! It is SO cool that others get a chance to knnow and love you (and your dogs) the way we do. My most sincere congratulations for kudos well-deserved.!

I'm off to read the interview.

As for the photos, clearly I would start with ones I have commented on and go from there. : )

The Piper picture you have in your banner is one of my all-time faves.

Who is judging the contest? If it is everyday people, I would go for the cute, if it is people with photographic training, I would go to your personal favorites, kick out any with cluttered backgrounds, then look at bokeh and crap that demonstrates technical proficiency.

Mr. Woo is always a good choice!

I think the one of Rogue all flat at that PAC trial was really cool, but of course I'm prejudiced.

Great interview! I agree with Buzz's Food Lady that it is important to know who the judges are AND to know who the final audience is. That said, I sympathize with your having to select a few from the many wonderful photographs. One of Briggs would certainly be fitting.

My favorite picture is Briggs in the red angry Scotsman hat. Every time I see it I can just hear Sean Connery's voice.

That picture has always been my favorite of yours. It holds a lot of personality.

I love these in "other dogs" but that's just me.

Tough to pick just one of your amazing pictures. But, if I have too, I choose:

Tweed's high school portrait is definitely one of my favorites.

Rushed here, but Puggle and Boston, Chessie 2 and Parker 3 are a few of my favorites, with maybe Chessie 2 at the top of the list, for other dogs. Agree with Sweet-Ceana about the one of Briggs in the Scots hat, and also agree with Buzz's Food Lady about the banner one of you with Piper.

Really enjoyed that interview. You seem to reach the center of where it's at for us dog loving people. Found myself nodding many times.

Your site is awesome btw...& to answer your question on the photo thing...there was the one picture of I think tweed that you stated in your blog that you were incredibly proud of...i think he was mid air & it was sunrise or sunset by the water...i'll comment on it if you find it. & as much as i love your dog pictures...the pictures & blogs with donutz are HILARIOUS. =)

Choose one? Not possible. Absolutely not.

I'd select every one with Mr. Woo in it. And then all the others too.

I'm no help. All your photos are amazing.

Great interview! So eloquent!

I agree with the advise to target photo selection to the judging criteria. But of course, you must include Tweed! Some favorites of mine:

A slightly prejudiced vote for the head shot of Ryder at the PAC trial in Nov (?) I had it on my computer desk top at work for a while - the scary eyes mesmerized vistors to my cubicle.

Congratulations Food Lady! The interview was a welcome insight to the makings of a great blog about my favorite subjects: dogs and photography.
The photo that stands out for me was the biggest of the Big Air from Wootie. I think you must have known that was a special moment when you clicked the shutter.

I just had time to go through Woo photos, today. W4, Tw1 are really lovely portraits. I love the action shots in water or snow: "Woochase" was a fav. I also listed Grr2, Grrawesome, PW1, Killwoo and Woomonster as photos I particularly liked in that group.
