Meet Joelene

Joelene is the newest member of my family.

Ha ha! You thought Joelene was going to be a dog. Sucker.

That wasn't very nice was it? Sorry. Here are some random shots from dog walks and dog parks over the last couple of days. But first, I vow to

a) NOT become one of "those" bike people
b) NOT join Critical Mass (shut up Cookie Uncle. YOU join Critical Mass!)
c) NOT put a "Bikesexual" or similar sticker on Joelene, ever.

I am going to get a sticker that says "One Less Car" though ... and I'm going to put in on my van. That was Robyn's idea, and is just one of the many reasons I Heart Robyn.

Although I love Joelene more (*sorry Robyn)

Tweed and Piper waiting to start our hike on The North Shore
Tweed is bored

Dusty is also bored ....with his head, and tries a Woo on for size:

Poor Woo is always Dusty's target. Woo has borrowed Piper's Mad Teeth (tm) for these situations.

Can you believe no one has adopted Dusty yet? I can't :(

He's cute! He's sweet! He's even talented and can spot UFOs!

It was gorgeous weather for February in Vancouver.

Great pics as usual! Ever since you said that Piper hydroplanes, I laugh whenever I see pictures of her jumping in the water.

I hope that Dusty finds his home soon!

Hey Food Lady, this is just to let your fans know to zoom in on your pics. So much detail. Incredible. Dusty 'boring' into Woo, you can see Woo dog slobber. Woo kinda sorta jumping into the water, you can see droplets of water all around him. Tweed at North Shore Mountains - the most beautiful, happy, magical smile a dog could give you.

That's only cuz Cookie Uncle was scratching his ass while I took that photo. He is always ecstatic about a good rump rubbin'.

Due to lack of money I rode a bike almost exclusively through my undergrad. I always wanted to get a sticker that said "one less bus passenger".

I'd give Tweed butt rubbins all day if I got that facial expression in return!! So adorable!

*sigh* Our city council is only now thinking, "Hmm, dog parks sound like a good idea." Yesterday, they invented the wheel, it was fab.

Is it me or is Mr. Woo morphing into a BC? He looks very BC-ish in the last picture.

Congratulations on Jolene. I can see you cycling along with four dogs in tow.

With such beautiful pictures of Dusty, I'm surprised that he doesn' have a home yet. He's a model!

Are you thinking of biking witgh dogs? If you are searching for a bike leash I found the walkydog one to work best of the three methods I tried. But I am not using it too much either. Its scary to get attacked by another dog and try to handle bike, dog, etc.

Wouldn't it embarrass Joelene to be seen out and about with Tweed?

I don't know which kind of "those" cyclists you're talking about, but I may be one of them, so talk nice!

I care about your safety, so may I highly recommend a rear view mirror for Joelene? It's the number 2 piece of equipment I consider necessary (helmet is number 1).

Yes, I adore Tweed!

Oh that's okay, I don't intend to ride her backward.

Haha, just kidding. Thanks for the tip! Sorry you are one of "those" cyclists ;-)
