See ya on the flip side baby

On the border collie boards, someone came up with the brilliant idea of seeing what our dogs look like when reversed. No, not ass shots ... like, take half the dog, flip it around and glue it back on. That's not a very nice thing to do to real live dogs, so we do it in Photoshop.

I flipped Woo.
Looking a little beady eyed. Lost some of the Woo Magic. I'm not digging it.

I flipped 'im again
Ack! Woo has wings!!

I think I prefer him just the way he is.

Oh nos! What has Food Lady done this time?

Well, it is getting rainy and cold in Vancouver, you know. And Tweed is quite the boy scout. He's always prepared.

I would be much more concerned about him dressing up in my delicate underthings, if he put them on correctly.

Yodalayhehoo!!

I tried to dress up Mr. Woo, and this is what happened.
So I couldn't do it.

Red Dog avoided this humiliation by looking extraordinarily adorable.

And once he realized it was working, he did it again. I think he needs Woo's wings!

Tweed thought - "Aha! Good tactic. I'll be head-tiltingly adorable as well."

DENIED!

It worked for Piper though.
Tweed just can't get a break.

And for the Angry Donut fans ...

Still angry

Or maybe just hungry

Sharing, Caring, Etc.

Sharing.

Not Sharing.

Kind of sharing.

Definitely not sharing!

Totally open to sharing:

So. Not. Sharing!

I guess Lars borrowed Piper's Mad Teeth (tm). He gave them back just in time for Piper to flash 'em at Woo though.

I am so happy to have my camera back!!! How else could I get a photo of The World's Flattest Dog?

A Headless Dog?

Or a leaping puppy?

I couldn't stop taking photos! If it moved, I took a photo. If it was stationary, I took a photo! If it didn't exist, I still tried to photograph it!

Cute hairy puppies!

As-Orange-As-Woos

Wet Tweeds!

And Dry Brody's!

Doesn't it make you just want to jump for joy?

Woo says YES!

This weekend is our fourth annual Hyperbowl, AKA Rescue Reunion. Be prepared for LOTS of photos!

This much happy

That's right baby. We are back in business!! My camera arrived today, and appears to be working perfectly. At long last!

I mean, a crappy point and shoot does not do this face justice!

Tweed's typical expression at having That Thing pointing in his face again:

I didn't have much time to play with it this evening, as I had to rush off to be humiliated by my dogs for two hours (ie - we had agility classes) but in case you were wondering ...

Angry Donut is still angry

Ahhhh ... it feels good to be home!!

I have lots of missed photo ops to make up for. Watch this space!! :)

The Adventures of Mr. Tube Steak

Here's a tube steak in an elevator!

Poor Red Dog. It's his new nickname. He is shaped like a tube. It's not his fault - before the steroids, he had a waist and everything. And it's not that the steroids have made him fat; on the contrary, he is leaner now than he was before his elbows started going bad. But for some reason, his body shape has morphed into a piece of penne with a head. But Penne Dog sounded almost noble. We can't have that!! So Mr. Tube Steak, here we are.

Mr. Tube Steak waits for his ball!
(do you notice this is his only pose?)

So Mr. Woo and I had an argument at the beach today.
Sassy little thing. He wanted to be a Viking. I think it was inspired by this:

I told him NO. I said yes, he has red hair and yes, he can make a lot of noise, but no way was he leaving me to be a Viking! First of all, Vikings are big and Woo is small. Secondly, Vikings are mean and Woo is a pansy. Sound arguments like this. But the little bastard hurled himself in the water and tried to swim away!

Fortunately, Miss Piper body blocked his escape

He was pissed. Even The Flamboyance (tm) was all angry and twitchy and stuff.

Mr. Tube Steak exits the water!
So in a fit of pique this week, I emailed Canon customer support and their PR department and explained to them how unhappy I was with the process of repairing my camera, how lousy my customer service experience has been and just generally described how I felt Canon was driving customers away by behaving in this manner.

The response I received was BIG FAT SILENCE. Canon has now had my beloved camera for 21 days. Three miserable weeks. Does it really take THAT long to replace a 50 cent pin??

Wah :( I feel naked!!!

Tweed thinks I should just suck it up and throw the damn ball.

But what does he know? He doesn't even have thumbs.

Stinky and The Flamboyance (tm)

It's totally not true

I'm not stinky. The only thing stinky in my life is that I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CAMERA!! Moreover, the promised Supervisory telephone call never happened. That really stinks. I hate Canon.

We just keep waiting and waiting.

So in the meantime, I torture you with goofy videos.

Today, The Beastie Boys (and girl) torture you with another beach video.

 Videos, Movies, Pet Profiles, Dogster
So. The Flamboyance (tm). Ladies and Gentlemen, some of the Flamboyance (tm) has - gasp - gone missing! The Flamboyance (tm) is a lb or two lighter. Where did it go?

Is it playing with the kitten?

Is it being a Toupee on Piper?

Perhaps it's just taunting the Woo.

or maybe, because it had some salt water matts in it, I had to (SACRILEGE) snip some of it out with a pair of scissors.

I am toying with the idea of auctioning it off to raise money for a new camera.

After I mail a piece to Jane, of course :)
