Personal Ad

I'm a 30-something year old woman looking for The Perfect Man. He should be young at heart, with the capacity for growth. Athletic, competitive and intelligent, he would also enjoy snuggling on the sofa and long walks in any weather. Ideally he'd fit right into my family unit with respect and lots of love. I'm looking for a 10-15 year commitment from a man with a good background, who has all his hair and teeth.

I would call him Linus!

Then again, I'm willing to swing both ways. I wouldn't kick a beautiful woman out of my (and Woo's) bed either. Maybe what I'm actually looking for is a stunning broad named Patty.

ZOMG! Teh cute!

I went to visit Tess' pups yesterday. They are now 18 days old, eyes are open ... and so are their lungs!

And so is the Milk Bar:

These puppies are KILLING your Food Lady, dear readers. I mean, I may actually just DIE. I have never seen so much cuteness in one place.

Oh hai. Plz to love me foreverz.

Each one is more heartbreakingly adorable than the last. While Linus remains my favourite, his brothers and sisters , each and every one of them, are giving him a serious run for his money.

Charlie (male)

Franklin (male)

Lucy (female)

Sally (female)

Schroeder (male)

Spike (male)

Oh it burns, readers - it BURNS! I'm so steamed that I can't have a puppy :(

I'm dreaming of living wif you, Food Lady ...

Kill me. Just kill me now.

Doesn't anyone have somewhere wonderfully affordable for me to live, without a tight-assed strata council to get all up in my bizness, so I can have a puppy of my own? I would move for a puppy. I really would.

"Uncle" Dutch (available for adoption through TDBCR) has been a wonderful babysitter to the peanuts. He is utterly fascinated with them, and visits them often.

I can visit puppiez now plz?

Mama dog Tess isn't too happy about Dutch's interest in the pups, but she is a generally polite lady so she lets him have a peek now and then.

These pups are going to be excellent prospects for working and sport homes. They will be high drive, intelligent dogs with so much potential you won't know where to begin! If you are looking for a new sport dog to start from the ground up, don't forget to keep checking our website for more information about when we will start accepting applications.

But you can't have Linus! He's mine!

*runs sobbing from blogspot*

I like Lucy. Schroeder too, because it cracks me up how much like a little old man he looks in his picture.

ACK!!! Pink puppy pads are too cute! There should have been a cuteness alert on this post. I bet they smell delicious too. *sob* Thanks for sharing the photos. I think. :-p

Oh Spike is mine! I called him! Okay Okay, reality check... nope, need a job, not a 4th border collie (but want desperately). Thank goodness I am on the other side of the country... hmm, maybe if I start driving now...

There, there, Food Lady. If I had a guest home on a large estate, I'd take them all - and hire you as the live-in Dog Wrangler/Photographer.

Oohhhhh I think my favorite is Charlie. Or Schroeder. It's times like this that I hate you. I, too, am maxed out, Food Lady. (Not like I'd know what to do with a fullblood Border Collie, anyways. I'd probably end up crying a lot.) But ZOMG! Cuteness! *swoon*

. . . but . . . but . . . but . . . you used to have 4 doggies. I don't understand why you can't have a puppy. *stomps foot*

My dear Arthur was born in my bedroom when I fostered a pregnant pooch. I don't know how I could ever survive without him, I literally thank God everyday for him!!

Here's hoping that something happens and makes it possible!

Oh just cave in and hide the puppy! It won't take too long for it to be wee Piper sized and then you could just lie and say Piper/Linus is one dog!

I foster failed a puppy last month, and so this month could be yours to fail! Failure, like misery loves company, and this failure comes with puppy breath!!!

At long last, the puppy pictures! They are all darling. I especially love the sweet, serious expression on Sally's face.

Sally killed me with her fuzzy little face and the tip of her little tongue showing. Too much
cuteness all around.

Dutch and his mellow 'tude and quizzical ears are MADE FOR ME and you must ship him to me in the Netherlands immediately. This was obviously meant to be. Oh gods. *in love*

I have a friend who lives in an unnamed Canadian city with a three dog limit. She has eight dogs. Her secret is they must all be male, black and white, and medium sized. She is a great trainer and owner so they behave well and do not draw attention to themselves. She does have a house of her own.

I'm just sayin'. And generally, I agree -- if you really want a puppy, you have to move out to the sticks.

I love Sally, or Spike, or or... ACK!! I feel your pain. I'm banned from the house should I get another dog, lol. But at least I can drool over pictures and remind myself of the evil wrath that puppies bring - *drools more* Let me know if you need puppy sitting in S. WA - ever!

I love Lucy! Hee-hee, reference intended...

Linus and all will find great homes, and I hope Linus' home will keep you up to date on his doings so you can keep tabs on your fave.

My verification word is *die*ssei. Blogspot is cruel, just cruel.

Have I mentioned yet that I WANT, MUST HAVE, WILL NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT the cute Mr. Dutch????

Can you bonk my husband on the head and set him straight about the need for 3 dogs, that two are NOT enough, and that Dutch is smooth coated so not much hair and I will work overtime to pay for his keep and maybe a housekeeper for the extra hair and and and he won't be any trouble and if he is I'll take care of it and and and
