Conversations with the dogs

Tweed, what's the matter?

"I see dead people."

No you don't. Don't be ridiculous.

"Yes I do. They're all around me."

*looks around*

Do you mean Piper? She's not dead. She's just a dork.

"Argh! They're driving me crazy!"

*looks around again*

Do you mean Sport? He's not dead, he just sometimes look that way cuz he's old.

Tweed, I don't see any dead people anywhere. Show me the dead people.

"It's okay, they're gone. I eated them. Can you throw the ball now plz?"

"DID SOMEBODY SAY SOMETHING ABOUT EATING?? I'MA GONNA EAT THE WOOTIE TOY!"

Mr. Woo, the toy will give you indigestion. Eat something else.

"Okay!"

NOMNOMNOM.

Alright Wootie, that's enough, go find someone to play with.

"Okay. Who?"

I dunno. How about Tweed?

"NOT. Woo is teh suck and I hate him. He's this much boring."

Alrighty. How about you Piper? Want to play with Mr. Woo?

"Negatory. I'm suffering from extra large tongue syndrome at the moment."

*sigh* Fine. How about Sport then? Sporty?

"No. No no no no no no no. No way. I'd rather drown myself."

Okay FINE. Then how about you play with this guy, Woo?

"YAY! OKAY!"

"Now that you've married Woo off, do you think you could maybe throw the ball?"

*STARE STARE STARE*

WOO!

Is it sad that the first thing I think of in the morning (after coffee, of course) is IS THERE NEW THREE WOOFS AND A WOO TO READ?!?!?
Seriously, thank you for making me laugh so much. Your blog is perfect.

I love your photographs so much! The one of Mr. Woo and his beach BC friend nearly made me do a spit take onto my monitor.

I whole heartedly agree...your blog is perfect.

Awesome ( and I don't use that word often ) photos, and great dialogue when used. I smile with every post. :-))

When I found your blog ( through rescue )I read the first few posts....my next work day off I read all of them. That was a looong time ago.

Thanks for sharing your wins, and your woes. And in-betweeners!

I just love the pictures of your dogs doing things that my dog could never even come close to doing. White dogs can't jump. Not this one, at least.

Always a joy to read your blog, and Sport looks terrific!!

Your photos are amazing and I love your commentary. You capture each dog's personality in pictures and words. And you make me laugh.

It also amazes me that you have such a wonderful place to take your dogs that is so close to the city - I have to drive a half hour to take Gracie to the beach and I live in the country.

Yup, mutt gal, I know what you mean. And no, I choose to believe it's not sad:) I won't say it's the absolute first thing I think of every morning, but I will say, I check Three Woofs and A Woo at least (emphasis on "at least") once every day and consider her blog to be the epitome of excellent writing, photography and humor. This last one is just stellar.

The big air ones of Woo just blew me away.. And the expressions linked to the story had me clicking on every photo to appreciate the connections even more. Children's literature, food lady! Consider it!

Hi,

Great action photos.
You are well "trained" with the camera :-)
Your dogs are really neat.
You know, the more I know people the more I like animals....

Kind regards,

José

Hahaha, this has been one of the funniest blog entries in a while! Enought to make me type a comment :) Love the dialog between you and your pups, especially the introduction into Tweed's special senses. He is surrounded by quite an eclectic crowd, how can you blame him for thinking something's not quite right? :)

I see Tweed's ex-friend is now Woo's BFFF, the picture of them bouncing of each other is amazing - had me laughing hard!

I love it!!!!
Thanks for the great laugh - the match of words and expressions is terrific. I think you have captured EXACTLY what they were thinking/saying.

Very funny stuff....at first glance Sport is doing a great imitation of having a "chow head". I love the seniors.... I always say my dogs see dead people because there is random concern and barking for no reason.

Is it any wonder you've made it onto Yahoo India? Guru Woo can levitate. They're into it.

(So are we. Thank you, Food Lady!)

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

You are the funniest! I can not stop laughing! EXCELLENT pics of Woo et al (as always), and thank you so much for explaining a mystery for me: Becuase of this post, I now know that when Finn gets that look, he is SEEING DEAD PEOPLE. I thought he was having a breakdown, but now I know it's just ghosts. It also probably explains his random burping. Probably just eated a ghost.

Thanks for the laughs - today and all the other days!

I have never posted a comment before but felt the need to when I enlarged the Tweed shaking picture and saw the big eye goop flying out his eyeball...too funny!!! Love your blog!

How on earth do you manage to throw the frisbee (in the right direction), then zoom and shoot a great photo of the action? I can't co-ordinate it all to get any decent air shots:(
