It's coming from inside the house!

So there we were this morning, enjoying some Wootie Toy in the horse paddock.

Wootie got some air

and some Mad Teeth(tm)
q0008

And then he was off and running like a shot
q00010

I wasn't sure what he was after. Could have been the big bold as brass coyote who was standing on my lawn in the middle of the afternoon two days ago.

Or it could have been the bunny rabbit that he enthusiastically chased up the road yesterday, and under the house foundation this morning. At least, I think it was the same bunny - the same very stupid, slow learner bunny.

But whatever it was he was after, he was convinced it was in the garden shed. Which is locked.

No matter.

He decided to just dig through the side of the shed.
q0007

When that proved to be frustratingly slow, he decided it would be faster to EAT THROUGH THE SHED!
q0005

What the hell?

He's teaching Dexter very bad habits!!
q0004

Good. More Wootie Toy for me.
q00011

Lord help me. Now I have to fix the shed.

In other news, we have raised $1500.00 for Little Man's surgery! You are amazing people, and you just made a little puppy's future so much brighter. We cannot thank you enough.

We'll be holding the draw this week and will announce the winner on the blog and on the website. So be sure to check back to see who gets a custom portrait from Laughing Dingo Studios!!

My dogs do that to my sheds because of the mice in and under them. They also began digging a den underneath and the shed now tilts a little.

my 10 y.o. border collie mix decided to 'dig' two small cat doors out of interior doors - she was tired of not being able to go everywhere the cat went, and we were not paying any attention to the problem!
mind you this arrangement had been in place for the past 10 years - cat is a year older than dog.
we now have 2 large, dogsized interior animal doors, so that dog and cat both have the run of the house at all times.
dog had stopped chewing on any toys other than a tennis ball by age 2, and has not chewed anything else since the door 'repair.'
that border collie perseverance is not to be taken lightly.

HA HA HA HA - you must have a relative of Bernard (as I call him) living near you. Almost three years ago this bunny appeared (around Easter-time....hmmmm....) and moved in under my shed. And he's still there. And not very bright (or maybe he is, but man, living in a yard with SIX predators?) My dogs all know what "RUN BUNNY RUN!!!" means now...and so does Bernard.

Misha went after our shed like that right after the fluffy black 'kitty' with the white stripe down it's back made it's den underneath...
